QKR Stampede Challenge #154 Cowboys

WOW...did August FLY by or what?!?!  It's time for a new challenge over at QKR Stampede and this week our theme is Cowboys, but I chose image #10002 Cowgirl.  She is colored with copics and has yellow stickles on the stars.  I printed and cut out her gloves so it looks like she's holding the rope that is brown waxed thread.   Layout is for Mojo Monday Challenge #412.  Rebel teal distressed paper by Glitz Design, red handkerchief paper by The Paper Studio, and kraft paper from my stash that I rolled thru a crinkler to look like cardboard (idea I got from Pia).  The red star clips are from my stash and walnut distress ink around all papers.

From The Heart Progressive August Challenge

My FIRST Christmas card for this year and it's for From The Heart Progressive Monthly Challenge.  The image this month is called Candy Cane for Snowman and you get the image along with four sentiments.  If you did not participate in last months challenge, you can purchase this image for $3.50 OR received it FREE with a $10 purchase and the code LETITSNOW.  The layout is for From The Heart Sketch Challenge #116.  I colored her with copics, used  star dust stickles for the snow, flower soft/flocking powder for the fur, and clear wink of Stella on the candy cane.  DP is DCWV the Christmas Stack, purple from Recollections Jolly Holiday, and pink cs from Craft Smith purples pad.  Cuddlebug snowfake embossing folder, Doodlebug pink and purple twine, snowflake brad from my stash, Martha Stewart punch, SB large circles and large scalloped circles dies.

It's Friday again and you know what that means...a new challenge at QKR Stampede!  I chose image #11502 Party Cat, isn't he adorable?!?! I colored him with copics, cut out with SB large circle die, matted with SB large scalloped die, and the Happy Birthday is a Sizzix die.  The layout is for Stella Says Sketch #312  over at Catch The Bug.  DP are Birthday Extravaganza by The Paper Studio and cs from my stash as are the gems.

QKR Stampede Challenge #152 Day at the Beach

Oh my, the middle of August already and time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede!  This week is Day at the Beach and I've chosen image #8401 Enjoying the Sun.  I imported him into Silhouette Studio, erased the coke bottle in his hand, then cut him out.  I paper pieced his swim trunks with Doodlebug Design Hello Sunshine paper and glossy accents on his sunglasses.  The water paper is from a friend (I think by Creative Memories) and the "sand" is torn sandpaper.  Drink glass, starfish, seashell from Jolee's Boutique, umbrella from Paper House 3D stickers, and beach chair by Impression Obsession.

It's time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede and this week is anything goes!  I chose image #7603 In Love and I am giving it to my DH for our anniversary this month!  I colored them with copics, Christmas Red stickles for the hearts and shoes and sentiment printed on the computer.  Layout is for Mojo Monday Challenge #409.  DP by Doodlebug Design Patriotic Picnic, red glitter and blue cs by The Paper Studio.  The heart was cut out on my Cameo, SB large circle die, and hemp cord  by Hemptique.
